Book Club

Enjoying reading a good book or exploring different genres?

The Mt. Zion book club is for you! We meet in the Fellowship Hall on the first Thursday of the month at 6:30 pm. 

Anyone can suggest a book, and we decide as a group which books we read for each month. A member of the group volunteers to find questions and lead the group in the discussion, usually the person who suggested the book will do this.

Men’s Group

Mt. Zion’s Men’s group meets the 2nd Saturday of the month at 8:00 am.

Men’s Group Goals : “To Do Good” for our congregation, our church, and our community.

Everyone is invited! We would be happy to have you join us for conversation and fellowship.

Quilters

The Quilters of Mt. Zion work diligently year round creating beautiful quilts to be sent to Lutheran World Relief. All are welcome to join us – no experience required! The meetings are every second Tuesday at 9:00 am in our lower level.

W.E.L.C.A

WOMEN’S MINISTRIES

W.E.L.C.A. is the organization of the Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Mt. Zion is a member of the St. Croix Valley Conference, which is part of the Northwest Synod of Wisconsin. All women members of ELCA are also members of WELCA. Mt. Zion currently has 2 active circles. Feel free to contact a circle’s leader through the church office for more information.

There are also several conferences around northwest Wisconsin throughout the year in which circles are involved. Circles also assist with serving luncheons at funerals held at Mt. Zion.

Disciple Diners

Disciple Diners meet on the fourth Wednesday of each month at different restaurants. If you are interested in attending, please confirm your reservation by reaching out to Mary Ellefson. Look for upcoming dinner sites and times in the Weekly Word as well.
